In this video I am showing the capabilities of the camera in different lighting conditions and an up-close shot. Overall the camera performs the best outside obviously, and performs decently inside when good lighting. Even with good lighting there is still some grainyness, but nothing too serious. I merged the two clips without an editing software as you can do it directly on the camera. So it is raw footage right off the SD card. Hope this video helped and dont forget to subscribe!

The short of it, bang for the buck the Xacti VPC-CG10 has more features than other video cameras in it’s price range. That’s exactly why I purchased it when I needed to upgrade my video camera for The Noc. I did’nt have much (or really any) money to spend on a camera, but needed something that was going to shoot in HD and mount to a tripod…. Untouched footage from the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG102. The very low light conditions were to much for this camcorder to handle on its highest iso setting, 1600. Also the high sensitivity feature is “off” it only creates more noise anyway. This camera does very poorly at capturing decent footage indoors without massive amounts of additional lighting as you can see. Do not buy this camera if you plan on shooting in low light conditions. Otherwise outdoor footage is decent.

hi all i went to the river today to have a break from my music. get the old creative juices going. i took some footage in 720p 30fps. the river wasnt very clear but i think it did a good job. i think thats enough for now. thanks for the support and messages. i hope this test helps. enjoy.
